Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you so much to those parents who were able to drop into sports day. The weather on KS2 day was pretty unseasonable, but we just managed to complete the carousel before abandoning the long-awaited races. Well done to all the teams who took part and to Mr McKeown for organising the event.
KS1 were more fortunate, and we managed to get through the finals of the heats without getting wet. In addition, every child had the opportunity to take part in a race just for fun. I was really impressed by how many children were keen to have a go. Again, the children were all brilliant and a big thank you to Miss Maull who organised the event. I would also like to thank our able Y6's who supported and encouraged our younger children-what great role models!
Unfortunately, the Reception sports day was rained off but has been re-scheduled for Monday. Once all the events have been completed, we will add up the points and announce the winning house!
Extra Curricular activities
Thank you to those of you who completed the Google forms regarding club preferences. Looking at provisional numbers, most of the clubs look viable. We will be liaising with providers next week, so we ready to issue the new timetable and confirm places in September. One parent has already contacted me about offering another club and if you have additional contact details for quality providers or wish to run a club yourself on a voluntary basis, please email jill@bramhopeprimaryschool.co.uk
Transition information
A reminder that parents will find out their child's new class teacher on Wednesday 12 July. On Friday 14 July all children will be spending the day with their new classmates, meeting their new teacher and any new children who will be joining us in September. One exception to this is 1P. Unfortunately, Miss Parker is on Jury Service for one more week, so although children will meet as a new class, we will be arranging an additional time for the new 1P to spend with Miss Parker. Thank you for your understanding.
