Intra-house hockey competitions
This half-term the children from Years 3 to 6 have been developing games skills including passing, moving with a ball and using space through hockey.
Intra-house competitions are ago for children to play against their peers in school representing their houses. We are fortunate to have a fantastic group of Sports Leaders in Year 6 who worked hard to facilitate the competitions. See below.
'On Tuesday 18th October, the year 5s and 6s played hockey-tennis in their houses. And after all the hard work from the year 6s the results for their year group were 4th place -Bronte, 3rd place -Wilberforce, 2nd place -Burton and 1st place Hepworth!
For year 5 we had in 4th place -Wilberforce, 3rd place -Hepworth, 2nd place -Bronte and 1st place -Burton!
It was a great team effort from everybody who took part and who displayed determination, respect and encouragement for their teammates.'
