Proposal to increase school places at Bramhope Primary School

Consultation on permanent expansion of Bramhope Primary School from September 2022

The Collaborative Learning Trust working in partnership with Leeds City Council, proposed an expansion of Bramhope Primary School, permanently increasing the number of places offered in Reception from 40 to 60 from September 2022.

A temporary bulge cohort of 20 additional Reception places was placed at the school for September 2020. To manage ongoing demand ahead of the proposed permanent expansion, 20 additional Reception places will again be offered at the school on a temporary (bulge) basis for September 2021.

The Executive Board of Leeds City Council considered the proposal at its meeting on 17th March 2021 and determined that provisional approval be granted for funding (authority to spend) to deliver the proposed permanent expansion at Bramhope Primary School.
