Proposal to increase school places at Bramhope Primary School

Consultation on permanent expansion of Bramhope Primary School from September 2022

The Collaborative Learning Trust working in partnership with Leeds City Council, is proposing an expansion of Bramhope Primary School, permanently increasing the number of places offered in Reception from 40 to 60 from September 2022.

A temporary bulge cohort of 20 additional Reception places was placed at the school for September 2020. To manage ongoing demand ahead of the proposed permanent expansion, 20 additional Reception places will again be offered at the school on a temporary (bulge) basis for September 2021.

The consultation will take place from Monday 14th December to 4pm on Sunday 24th January 2021.

Why we are asking for your views

Demand for primary school places in Bramhope village is expected to increase in future years as a result of new housing development in the area.
